    I had a terrible experience with this company several years ago. I found them via the yellow pages, and wanted them to test two fire extinguishers in my small premises. I thought at the time the invoice was way over, they charged me for things like sticking their stickers on the extinguishers. I was asked to sign the papers I was presented with on the engineer’s clipboard outside, it was getting dark, so I did. The next year the same man just turned up at my business premises wanting to come in and service my extinguishers. I said it wasn’t convenient and I hadn’t asked anyone to come out, he got very aggressive and he said he’d have to put it down as an abortive attempt to come in. I was then sent an invoice saying because I hadn’t let him in, I owed them the money for that and in fact unbeknownst to me I had signed a five year contract with them! They said I would have to pay a proportion of service fees for 5 years as compensation if I didn’t want to use them any more! I tried to phone them many times to discuss the matter but the woman who answered wouldn’t help me and said it was too late to speak to the manager/owner, he wouldn’t speak to me. I refused to pay and ignored their invoices until eventually they threatened me with court action and I decided to pay up because it was all too stressful. An awful company and I thought of reporting them to Watchdog but at the time couldn’t find any other (bad) reviews of them so thought maybe it was just my bad luck. Now I see there are many bad reviews and they’re still operating! Do not use this company.
